<p>The map provides an interactive overview of the project area and its monitoring system, designed to prevent polluted stormwater runoff from reaching the Maspalomas pond.</p><p>It displays key geographic features, including the Maspalomas pond and the protected Maspalomas Dunes Special Nature Reserve, helping users easily orient themselves within the study area.</p><p>The map also highlights the implemented Nature-Based Solutions, such as a filter trench that conveys and pre-treats runoff, and a bioretention area that captures, stores, and naturally treats water through soil and vegetation processes.</p><p>In addition, the map presents the monitoring network, including rain gauges, flow meters, water level sensors, and water quality probes. These instruments provide essential data to evaluate system performance and assess improvements in water quality over time.</p>
